"They killed the game!": Gamers criticized the update for the arcade football Rematch
EA Sports FC's competitor is having problems.
Recently, the authors of Rematch introduced a major update, and soon some members of the community began to resent. The fact is that the authors lowered the pace of the game, and also made corrections to the techniques, which, in their opinion, were not balanced enough. Comments like "it feels like the more you update the game, the more you kill it" began to sound.
Judging by the reviews, the most enthusiastic players who learned different tricks felt these changes most strongly. For example, BigGingerHexagon, who regularly plays Rematch, describes his impressions as follows:
"In some moments, the movements of the players seem almost clumsy, and they are only able to move at an acute angle, especially when defending. Attackers seem to still be able to move freely, moving the ball in any direction, so there is an imbalance here.
I understand what they wanted to achieve with the changes in EE, but I don't think they improved anything. Now I see people just jumping up and down the field to catch up with their opponents."
There are players who announced that they are quitting the game until the developers "fix the movement."
Андрюха Легенда, who has played more than 100 hours, said in a review on Steam:
"the new patch just killed the game, everything became slower, the game is like not its own, as if you can even say, it was better before."
Nevertheless, there are also positive aspects: crossplay and a player complaint system have been added to Rematch - fans have been asking for this for a long time. Users also note that the connection has become better and there are fewer delays.
