Recently, the author of the YouTube channel Cycu1 decided to compare early frames of Fallout 4 on the Nintendo Switch 2 console from the teaser with the version for the PlayStation 5 Pro console. The blogger noted that it was difficult to find frames with suitable weather conditions for comparison.
While some praise the Switch 2 version, a viewer under the nickname Pretendo89 expressed the opinion that the frames actually show the PC version of the game:
The [Fallout 4] version shown at the event is not a Switch 2 game, but a PC version, which is easy to see in the displayed menu. In the console version, the buttons are displayed in the Pip Boy menu, but in the PC version they are not
Players on Switch 2 will get the full version of Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition — in addition to previously released add-ons, it will also include mods from the Creation Club.
The release on the Nintendo console is expected next year; and the version for PC, PlayStation, Xbox is scheduled for release on November 10, 2025.
