The psychological horror game The Exit 8 has received a fresh update on Android, iOS, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox Series X/S. The patch expands the list of anomalies in the surrounding space that the player must notice in time to escape from the enclosed underpass.
Previously, an update with new anomalies was released in honor of the film adaptation of The Exit 8, presented in Russia under the title "Выход 8" in August 2025. At that time, the patch was received by versions for Nintendo Switch and PC.
The game recently celebrated its second anniversary. Initially, the project was released in late November 2023, quickly became a viral hit on YouTube, and has since collected over nine thousand reviews on Steam, of which 93% are positive. The film adaptation, presented at the 78th Cannes Film Festival in May 2025, received an eight-minute ovation and 98% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
