The component market continues to be seriously shaken.
PC enthusiasts are once again facing unpleasant news: following Intel, AMD is also considering raising prices.
According to Nikkei Asia, AMD plans to increase the cost of its processors in the near future — from the end of March to the beginning of April. We are talking about a price increase of up to 15% for various CPU models. This coincides with the expected price increase from Intel, which, according to previous reports, may raise the price by about 10%.
According to sources, AMD is experiencing increased demand for server and data center solutions, which is causing a shortage of consumer processors. Additional pressure is exerted by the continuing shortage of RAM (DRAM), which has already caused an increase in prices for other components.
