Europa Universalis V Developers Fixed 2 Thousand Bugs and Released DLC Fate of the Phoenix, Which Received "Mixed" Reviews
The developers continue to refine and expand EUV.
In early May, the developers of the global strategy game Europa Universalis V released the premium expansion Fate of the Phoenix:
With your help, the Eastern Roman Empire will either fade or be reborn. The expansion adds unique mechanics and content to the game, new historical events, and alternative development paths for the Byzantine Empire.
For example, the DLC includes the “Fate of the Phoenix” disaster, new content for the Orthodox Church, Latin culture, “Byzantine bureaucracy” — special content for a new bureaucracy system created specifically for large empires.
The Fate of the Phoenix expansion for Europa Universalis V launched on Steam to “mixed” reviews. Negative reviewers urged Paradox to fix the base game and reported technical issues and underdeveloped localization. They also expressed the opinion that the developers presented little new content for a “DLC”.
Also, update 1.2 Encinades was released for Europa Universalis V. The developers fixed many different bugs, reworked religious mechanics (Orthodoxy) and economics — the logic of trade routes was updated, the Trader Order function appeared, diplomatic improvements, “Balkan content” (additional events and new content for Greece and the Balkans).
