Fans believe Bethesda hinted at the release window for the Fallout 3 remaster

It is assumed that the release of the updated version of the game will not have to wait several years.

In July, Bethesda Game Studios delighted fans with several announcements for the Fallout franchise. An update for Fallout 76 is in development, as well as several full-fledged new games and remasters of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.

Currently, Bethesda Game Studios has not specified any concrete release dates for the games. However, the release window for the Fallout 76 update, called “Raven Rock,” was announced – it is planned for release in 2027. Chronologically, it will be a prequel to the story of Fallout 3.

Some community members, like Kevduit, believe that with the Raven Rock update, the developers plan to prepare players for the imminent release of a hypothetical Fallout 3 Remastered. It is assumed that the game's remaster could be released “alongside” the Fallout 76 update, i.e., also next year.

Rumors about the development of an updated version of Fallout 3 have been circulating for a long time, and recently a well-known insider said that he had already seen the project.

The announcements made by Bethesda Game Studios are, in essence, paper announcements. The developers have only talked about their plans, but have not yet presented any concepts, screenshots, or trailers.
