(18+) Primeval Values vs. Capitalism. Review of the Adult Fun "Rus Against Lizards 2"
Once again, the developers of "Trouble" were thwarted in their efforts to create a game by stories about the relationship between the Rus and the lizards - the release of the second part happened just in time for the emergence of the "Zemsky Sobor". The game refuses to learn from its mistakes, but is still capable of giving positive emotions.
Two Dolboslavs are a force
The events of the second part continue the story of strengthening relations between the Rus, strong female lizards and their stunted males. People and lizards enjoyed caroling, while the unfortunate Dolboslav continued to suck on the icy pillar.
Not смирившись с тем, что оказался не у дел во время межвидового обмена опытом, Dolboslav, по тупости врождённой, вызвал толпу чертей, которые принялись навязывать капитализм народу гиперборейскому. Only the lizards are able to use mathematics to resist the machinations of the devils, but they have become too stupid because of the cold. So the main characters decided to go to Atlantis - in order to find a way to help their scaly passions warm up.
The story is again divided into two main storylines. One is dedicated to the familiar heroes from the first part - the hero Ratibor and his faithful scaly warrior Veinte. Together, the unusual couple went to Atlantis - to ask for help from the supreme mother of all lizards. But they are not waiting for deliverance from the devils, but a much more insidious fate...
The second storyline is dedicated to Dolboslav, who never realized that he had caused an apocalypse to the usual way of life of his comrades. A female version of the Devil from "The Night Before Christmas" came to him - with hips so huge that you can stop dinosaurs. The devil's name is Dusya, and she is very bad at deceiving people - in fact, she is a hellish version of Dolboslav. Both versions of Dolboslav quickly became friends and set off to find deliverance from capitalism.
The dialogues in the game are voiced in Russian and English. Both voice acting are of high quality and provide a lot of pleasure during the passage. Alas, you will have to endure shortcomings, when the lines are swapped, or the voice acting does not match the text.
Old problems make themselves known
The story is again divided into branching episodes that highlight what is happening from different sides. The save and load function has not been added, as well as the gallery of already opened scenes. Each episode is mercifully short, but the shortcomings make the orientation process much less convenient. After restarting the game, the function to rewind the viewed text using the "CTRL" key disappears.
To gain access to the forks in the plot, you need to complete the game like a "match three". Apparently, the developers decided that after completing the first part, there is no point in explaining the rules of the mini-game, because the players have already figured everything out themselves. The store that helps with the passage of the mini-game remained inconvenient. And if you fulfill all the conditions for gaining access to the forks, then after choosing a path, you will have to hammer again to gain access to another option.
In most cases, passing the mini-game leads to scenes where the Rus strengthen their connection with lizards, devils and other fabulous creatures. The main character models migrated from the first part, but many new ones appeared - especially plump and juicy. Many scenes are not animated, but those that are - stand out for their high quality.
The main problem of the first part has been preserved. It said that the male lizards have two "spears" and they are covered with pimples, while in the animation the tool was one and without pimples. In the second part, pimples were added, but the spear remained in a single quantity - an outrage! Some tricks of the capitalists!
Diagnosis
"Rus Against Lizards 2" retained the positive elements of the first part, which made the passage enjoyable. This is an unusual, bright and funny game, whose humor is sometimes funny. The characters, for all their frivolity, are remembered for their appearance and character, and you even begin to worry about them. And the excellent voice acting makes the passage even more intense.
It is a pity that the developers did not work on the obvious shortcomings that worsened the gaming experience in the first part. The final game should be released soon: "Hyperborea: Hornyzation", where the events take place in an alternative future. The probability that the developers will work on the mistakes in it is depressingly small. But this does not mean that it does not exist at all - it remains only to wait and believe.
