The studio allegedly fired the artist for political reasons.
On September 16, Sony Interactive Entertainment released a new trailer for Ghost of Yotei, which quickly gained many dislikes and negative comments calling for a boycott of the game and Sony. The reason for this was the statements of Drew Harrison, a former Sucker Punch artist, who rejoiced at the death of Charlie Kirk, a well-known conservative and supporter of US President Donald Trump, who was killed by a shooter during a public appearance on September 10.

I won't give your company another penny.
Don't give money to people who hate you.
There have been no official statements from Sucker Punch and Sony regarding Harrison's public position, but she herself wrote on her Blue Sky page that "fighting fascism" is worth losing her dream job. Harrison also updated her profile on the business social network, stating that she worked at Sucker Punch until 2025.
