Undercroft Warriors was released almost unnoticed in August 2024, although players note the flexibly customizable difficulty level, engaging gameplay loop, and action in the spirit of auto-shooters. The project focuses on short sessions and improving personal records, rather than developing the plot.
The visual style is executed in a black and white palette with rare color accents. The atmosphere is complemented by a retro-style soundtrack. Players have access to six characters with unique weapons and abilities, which affects the tactics of each run.
