"Minecraft Killer". Hytale Released in Early Access
The developers honestly warn: in the first days there will be many bugs, the balance is raw, the load on the servers is huge, so queues and technical difficulties are possible.
Hytale, which many have dubbed the "Minecraft killer," has been released in early access.
The developers did not specify how long to wait for the release of the full version 1.0, but noted that they are ready to spend many years implementing all their ideas.
What's in early access:
- Exploration Mode
- Creative Mode and a set of tools for creating content
- Mod support
- Multiplayer
What they promise to add in the future:
- Main Adventure Mode with deeper progression
- Official mini-games and social elements (friend lists, guilds)
- Full-fledged generation of the Orbis world in its final form
The release took place two months after Hypixel reacquired the rights to the project and became an independent studio. Taking the old developments as a basis, the team fixed key systems (such as camera, movement, combat system and crafting), eliminated thousands of errors and integrated a number of new functions.
