Earlier, the creators of Forza Horizon 6 emphasized that they were focusing on full cross-play and shared gaming for users across different platforms. The team went further and confirmed another piece of good news - especially for racing fans on PS5.
The developers officially announced that Forza Horizon 6 will get cross-saves on all platforms. In practice, this means you can start your career on one platform and then transfer your progress to another without any issues — and this is not limited to the Xbox ecosystem.
Most importantly, cross-saves will be available not only between Xbox and PC, as before, but will also extend to Steam and PS5. This is a notable step, especially considering that Forza Horizon 6 will take players to Japan, and Microsoft is clearly aiming to make the series' debut on PlayStation as comfortable as possible.
Thanks to cross-saves and cross-play, players will be able to play anywhere and with anyone.
It is worth recalling that Microsoft has been investing in cross-platform solutions for many years, developing them around Xbox Play Anywhere and cloud saves. Now this approach has found even broader application in Forza Horizon 6.
