Microsoft takes a step towards PS5 in Forza Horizon 6
Previously, the creators of Forza Horizon 6 emphasized that they were focusing on full cross-play and cooperative play for users on different platforms. The team went further and confirmed another good news - especially for racing fans on PS5.
The developers have officially announced that Forza Horizon 6 will get cross-saves on all platforms. In practice, this means that you can start a career on one platform, and then easily transfer progress to another - and this is not only about the Xbox ecosystem.
The main thing is that cross-saves will be available not only between Xbox and PC, as before, but will also affect Steam and PS5. This is a noticeable step, especially considering that Forza Horizon 6 will send players to Japan, and Microsoft is clearly striving to make the series' debut on PlayStation as comfortable as possible.
Thanks to cross-saves and cross-play, players will be able to play anywhere and with anyone.
It is worth recalling that Microsoft has been investing in cross-platform solutions for many years, developing them around Xbox Play Anywhere and cloud saves. Now this approach has been even more widely used in Forza Horizon 6.
