The Latest ARC Raiders Update Broke Cross-Play
Embark is aware of the issue and is already working hard to fix it.
Update version 1.26.0, titled Riven Tides, for ARC Raiders is now available on all platforms. It includes the new map of the same name, an additional Beachcombing condition, a new enemy Arc Turbine, and many new items.
However, after installing the patch, players discovered that the cross-play feature was disabled. Moreover, it is currently impossible to re-enable it through the settings. As a result, users on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC can only play with owners of the same platform.
A representative from Embark Studios, community manager Dusty Gustafsson, commented on the situation on the project's official Discord server. According to her, the team is already aware of the problem and is working to fix it.
Gustafsson also noted that there is a temporary solution: a complete reset of game settings to default. However, this method may not be suitable for everyone, so the developers recommend waiting for an official fix.
