Filming for the Far Cry series begins this autumn - it will be brutal, emotional, and intense

Actor and producer Rob McElhenney (known as Rob Mac) revealed in a new interview that filming for the project will begin this autumn. This is an important stage for the series, which has been discussed for several years.

Screenwriter Noah Hawley, known for his unconventional approach to television projects, plays a key role in the show's creation. McElhenney does not hide his admiration for his work, calling Hawley "a genius" and noting that every script he writes significantly surpasses the team's initial ideas.

According to the producer, the series will maintain an anthology format, like the original games, offering separate stories within a common concept. At the same time, the creators aim to make the project accessible to both long-time Far Cry fans and viewers unfamiliar with the franchise.

McElhenney emphasized that the show will combine brutality and intensity with an unexpectedly emotional component. He described the upcoming series as "a heavy, harsh story that remains a beautiful love drama at the same time."
