The recent presentation of armor models for Lords of the Fallen II did not please some users.

Recently, the developers of Lords of the Fallen II presented armor for female characters. The armor turned out to be quite revealing and sometimes resembled "armored bikinis," which was not appreciated by some players and activists.

Western publications also spoke out; for example, a journalist from The Gamer published an article titled "Lords of the Fallen II Doesn't Understand What's Sexually Appealing About FromSoftware Games."

In her opinion, the developers at CI Games "are so desperate to make women attractive that it looks frankly pathetic."

As an example, she cites FromSoftware games, which use a different approach. The developers in these games presented a variety of attractive female characters but did not make them simply sexual. They carefully integrated them into the game world, making them full-fledged characters:

FromSoftware understands the nuances of creating appealing female characters in their games, and they realize that when characters are given not only memorable appearances but also strong stories, an established place in the game world, and autonomy as individuals, attractiveness arises naturally.

CI Games boss Marek Tyminski noticed this and mocked a post on The Gamer's social media account with a link to this article. He reminded that for developers, players come first:

40 thousand views and only 7 likes. This is a nano echo chamber. Players first.

Marek also took the opportunity to boast about the metrics of the original Lords of the Fallen — it has already attracted 8 million players.
