Warhammer Age of Sigmar Community Showcases Cogfort Miniature Conversions

Thanks to members of the Warhammer Age of Sigmar tabletop game community, users were able to see what a Cogfort belonging to vampires, Chaos worshippers, and Sylvaneth would look like.

People can already pre-order the Cogfort miniature for the Warhammer Age of Sigmar tabletop game. To prepare them for an encounter with the massive walking fortress, Games Workshop staff showcased conversions of this new release from various community members.

Emma transformed the Cogfort into a unit allied with a vampire lord. She took one of the buildings from the Cursed City and carefully attached it to the front. Other touches of vampiric corruption include swarms of bats (from the Soulblight Gravelords: Manifestations Sanguine Swarm set), a royal banner of a vampire house (from the Blood Knights set), and weapons and heads for the crew from Deathrattle Skeletons.

Jonathan gave the Cogfort to the Chaos worshippers. He combined two Nexus Chaotica models into a ring, attaching it to the main body of the fortress, and also turned the portcullis into a pulpit for his Chaos Sorcerer. As for the engine, Jonathan kept the shell but replaced the motor itself with a hovering obelisk from the Nexus set.

Eddie's Cogfort went over to the Sylvaneth. Instead of moving on piston legs, this fortress is mounted on a mighty Wardroth beetle. The giant insect is taken from the Alarielle miniature. He added various elements of foliage and vegetation throughout the model, including a small sprout breaking through a pipe.

Ben was blessed by Tzeentch – the god of change. He decided to recreate something akin to the Impossible Fortress from Warhammer Fantasy. Ben installed Silver Shards, an Exalted Flamer with a flamethrower, and various elements associated with Chaos and demons on the Cogfort.
