The developers have prepared a summer heist.

Rockstar Games has announced the next major update for Grand Theft Auto Online. Players will be offered new content to explore.

The developers said that "in the coming weeks" GTA Online will be filled with ways to prepare for the heist – the release of "The Kortz Center Heist" update is expected in July:

Rockstar also announced that starting June 18, owners of any version of Grand Theft Auto V for PS4 or the digital version for Xbox One will be able to upgrade for free to the enhanced versions for PS5 or Xbox Series X|S.

In addition, an expansion of the GTA+ subscription was announced – it will include the GTA V story mode:

PC players will also be able to get all these updates along with exclusive PC features such as ray tracing (ambient occlusion and global illumination) by upgrading from Legacy to Enhanced for free. And if you haven't completed the GTA V story mode yet, GTA+ subscribers can now access it – along with GTA Online – as part of the GTA+ Games Library.
