Sora will go to the world of "Coco" - Kingdom Hearts IV received a new trailer

The game is expected to be released in late 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

Square Enix unveiled a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts IV at D23. The video confirmed the appearance of a world based on the Pixar animated film "Coco" and indicated an approximate release window – late 2027.

Sora will find himself in the Land of the Dead, where he will meet Miguel and Hector. The hero will receive a Keyblade in the style of "Coco" and fight the Heartless on the vibrant streets of the otherworldly city. Meanwhile, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy continue to search for a way to bring Sora back from Quadratum. They turn to Hades, familiar from the Disney animated film "Hercules," for help.

Kingdom Hearts IV will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Square Enix has not yet announced an exact release date.
