Hades was released on PC and Switch in September 2020 and received high praise. Last year, it received numerous awards, including the "Game of the Year" title at the Game Developers Choice Awards, as well as awards in the "Best Design" and "Best Audio" categories.

С 13 августа Hades доступна на консолях Xbox и PlayStation, а спустя неделю стала самой высокооценной игрой на Series X|S и PS5 на агрегаторе обзоров Metacritic. У версии для PlayStation 5 сейчас рейтинг 93%, что ставит её выше Demon's Souls (92), Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 (90) и Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (89).

Версия для Xbox Series X|S получила 94 балла на Metacritic, опередив Microsoft Flight Simulator (90), It Takes Two (89) и Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 (89). 

Switch-версия занимает четвертое место и набрала 93 балла. Из тысяч игр, выпущенных для Switch за последние четыре с половиной года, только три игры получили более высокие оценки – Super Mario Odyssey (97), The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (97) и The House in Fata Morgana (98).
