One of the Most Tragic Moments of the Horus Heresy: Black Library Announces "The Dropsite Massacre" Novel
In 2025, fans of Warhammer 40,000 and the Horus Heresy will be able to learn new details about the horrific events that occurred on Istvaan V, as the book "The Dropsite Massacre" by writer John French will be released.
Black Library has announced a new novel, "The Dropsite Massacre," dedicated to one of the most tragic moments of the Horus Heresy, which changed the fate of the Imperium.
Written by author John French, the book tells the story of the loyalist forces sent by Rogal Dorn and Malcador the Sigillite to put an end to the rebellion and bring the Great Crusade back on track.
Readers will follow the fates of both familiar characters—Maloghurst "The Twisted" and Khârn—and new ones, including Castrmen Orth of the Iron Hands and Kydex Nex of the Blood Ravens.
Although many fans of the Heresy and Warhammer 40,000 know that the ending of this story will not be happy, this novel will show it from a completely different perspective for the first time.
The book "The Dropsite Massacre" is scheduled to be released in 2025.
