The first PowerWash Simulator became one of the most unexpected hits of recent years, so the appearance of a sequel was only a matter of time.
The FuturLab team doesn't stray far from the proven formula and has released a large-scale sequel to their popular project. The game was released last Friday and immediately attracted a large number of players. At its peak, PowerWash Simulator 2 gathered 17,244 people online — 3,000 more than the original version at its time.
Reviewers welcomed the novelty warmly. The average score on Metacritic was 83%, which is significantly higher than the first part and even surpassed the result of Ninja Gaiden 4 (82%). This is a serious success for a small studio, which confirms that the series is developing.
FuturLab has already made it clear that they are satisfied with the start and plan to continue developing the PowerWash universe — both through large projects and through small experiments.
