Nikita Buyanov Likes PvE in Escape from Tarkov - He Revealed Player Distribution Between PvP, PvE, and PvP Season Modes
Developers are preparing surprises for PvE mode enthusiasts.
This summer, the first season of Kord Breach was launched in Escape from Tarkov. In addition to the familiar PvP and PvE Zone modes, a third seasonal mode was added to the game. A month later, Battlestate Games boss Nikita Buyanov shared statistics on player preferences.
The first month of the Kord Breach season – players were distributed across modes as follows. As usual, Buyanov only indicates the percentage share (without the exact number of players):
- 35% – PvP Season
- 15% – regular PvP
- 50% – PvE

Some members of the Escape from Tarkov community believe that Nikita Buyanov hates PvE mode and its fans. After the developer's post, such individuals once again visited his comments and started leaving remarks like, "Knowing how much Nikita dislikes PvE, I can already imagine what his face looks like now."
Buyanov responded by stating that he likes PvE and that the Escape from Tarkov developers are currently preparing a "big update for PvE." He did not go into detail about the update, but it was previously reported that a prestige system is being prepared for PvE mode.
This month, Escape from Tarkov plans to introduce competitive Leagues where players can earn rewards, and an update to the "Lighthouse" map is also in preparation.
