Warhammer Quest: Darkwater tabletop game developers talk about the skills of seven characters

Games Workshop shared new details with gamers regarding the Warhammer Quest: Darkwater tabletop game. Today, people learned what to expect from Edmark Valoran, Drolf Ironhead, Bren Tylis, Inara Sion, Drasher Vorne, Keltannor, and Jacobus Vane.

The developers of the cooperative tabletop game Warhammer Quest: Darkwater, which takes place in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe, have published a guide dedicated to the abilities of playable characters.

It became known that Edmark Valoran is a "tank." He is able to reliably block attacks with the Manticore Shield and respond with fierce counterattacks thanks to his fiery nature.

Drolf Ironhead is a duardin who can ignore the effects of deadly and restrictive curses on cards (traps and other dangers). His ranger gear allows him to completely bypass blocked cells, which is ideal for exploring the labyrinthine Jade Monastery. Plus, this hero has a crossbow.

Bren Tylis is able to reroll all movement (all characters except Drolf roll a die to determine movement), attack, and defense rolls (each turn). In addition, her experience with dusty relics gives her a chance to save rewards that would otherwise be lost.

Inara Sion can create a barrier of water and block a selected cell. This is useful for blocking paths that enemies can use. Plus, she has the ability to move a similar barrier if she is nearby.

Drasher Vorne is the chieftain of a tribe of werewolves from Gur, capable of turning into a mindless berserker. As Drasher takes damage and enemies die, his rage builds until it erupts in a whirlwind of fury. This fighter can use the Black Claw artifact for self-flagellation to amplify his rage and gain bestial power.

Centaur archer Keltannor is a master of mobility. He is able to rush through rows of weak opponents and jump over them, while firing volleys of arrows with unerring accuracy. This character can also inspire allies with a hunting horn (friends will have a chance to move one cell).

Jade mage Jacobus Vane prefers to summon the spirit of Whisper. This creature deals attacks (or the mage can switch places with Whisper). Jacobus Vane's staff is capable of entangling enemies, reducing their movement speed and attack power.

It is worth noting that each hero has an improved version of their signature equipment, which can be found. The four main heroes also have alternative character cards.
