Arc Raiders has become the most notable multiplayer project of the year, surpassing even Battlefield 6, on which EA spent almost $400 million.
The extraction shooter has retained 90% of its audience after reaching a peak of 481,000 players. Typically, multiplayer games lose the majority of their users within a few weeks of release, but Arc Raiders has managed to hold players' attention.
The game was released in October and reached a maximum of 481,966 players on November 16. The minimum 24-hour peak since release was 272,000 players, which is impressive.
For comparison, Battlefield 6 lost 80% of its audience, and Black Ops 7 never gained a significant number of players — currently, there are just over 60,000.
Over 7 million copies of Arc Raiders have already been sold, and the game received the "Best Multiplayer Game" award at TGA, surpassing Battlefield 6. The developers at Embark are planning long-term support and promise new features and content in 2026 to keep the game popular for many years to come.
