Weta Workshop Unveils Merry and Pippin Statue from "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King"
This week, Tolkien fans longing for "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" and hobbits will be able to pre-order a statue from Weta Workshop, capturing Merry and Pippin resting amidst the ruins of Isengard.
Weta Workshop announced that pre-orders for the "Merry and Pippin" statue, dedicated to "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" film, will open on June 5, 2026, at 00:00 MSK.
The collectible item, made of polystone, is 12 cm high, 17 cm wide, 12 cm deep, and weighs 1 kg.
The miniature statue captures Meriadoc Brandybuck and Peregrin Took in one of their most typically hobbit-like moments, sitting amidst the ruins of Isengard, having briefly set aside the burden of battle.
Every element of the sculpture is meticulously crafted: the characters' relaxed poses, the food and drinks around them, and the crumbling stone wall beneath them, combining destruction with an atmosphere of celebration.
This scene holds a unique place as it marks a turning point where adversity gives way to resilience, and even in the shadow of war, there is room for laughter and rest. The statue is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2027.
