The fan film tells a classic story of monsters in human guise.

The premiere of the fan short film "The Witcher: Price of Error" took place on the Nightmare YouTube channel. The project was created by dubbing actor Ivan Zharkov and Alexander Yaitsky, a blogger and owner of the "Tavern Under the Witcher's Sword" restaurant.

The film's duration is about 10 minutes. According to the plot, a witcher receives an order for a noonwraith that appeared near one of the villages. The story largely resembles one of the first contracts from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - "A Frightful Feast," but the authors tell their own story about monsters in human guise.

In addition to Alexander Yaitsky, the film starred Denis Nekrasov, Denis Makhonin, Irina Chemova, and Pavel Drygin. The script was written by Alexander Yaitsky and Ivan Zharkov, Mikhail Poteryakhin was the cinematographer, and Dmitry Taranov composed the music.

Traditionally, the comments were not without comparisons to the official Netflix adaptation.

"Awesome! One short film is better than the entire Netflix series. Well done!"

"A very cool mini-story turned out, just like a quest from the original game! The spirit was conveyed magnificently!"

In addition, viewers praise the script, atmosphere, and scenery, and also urge the authors to continue working on the project.
