Activision has sharply intensified its fight against cheaters in Call of Duty: a company lawyer personally visited the home of a suspected cheat seller, and the publisher announced a large-scale operation against their suppliers.

The incident occurred on August 22 in Ohio during the beta testing of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. An Activision representative visited a man suspected of selling software for unfair play. The company recorded the visit and published the video as a warning to others involved in similar businesses.

According to Activision, the operation led to the shutdown of Elocarry, one of the well-known Call of Duty cheat sellers. In total, the publisher claims to have disrupted the operations of over 375 organizations reselling cheats and shut down more than 30 of their suppliers.

Activision emphasizes that the fight is not limited to account bans. The company intends to combat the business behind the creation and sale of prohibited software.
