Steve Gaynor returns with a new project under the Fullbright banner.
Fullbright, the studio known for Gone Home and Tacoma, has announced a new game called Springs, Eternal — an atmospheric narrative adventure with a lo-fi aesthetic.
Players will journey to a mystical mountain resort where souls lost between life and death gather. Here, you can meet dozens of characters — from philosophers engaged in endless debates to a tattoo artist ready to "ink your future onto your skin." Their stories unfold through branching dialogues, gradually revealing the secrets of this place and its connection to the hero's past. Despite the somber visual style and fog, the author promises that the game will be "peaceful and humane."
After a scandal and accusations of toxicity, Steve Gaynor remained the sole employee of Fullbright. Since then, he has released the experimental Toilet Spiders, and Springs, Eternal will be his next independent work.
Springs, Eternal is expected to be released in 2026 on PC via Steam. The exact date has not yet been announced.
