Two New Metal Slug Games in Development - One in the Style of Vampire Survivors

In 2026, developers and fans of the Metal Slug series will celebrate its third anniversary.

As part of the Metal Slug 30th Anniversary celebration, the franchise's account announced that two new games are in development.

The first is Metal Slug Rush, developed by RingGames studio, which operates under license from SNK.

The developers published a trailer for Metal Slug Rush on social media — you can watch it at the following link. They did not reveal the release date in it. This is a mobile project and its gameplay resembles Vampire Survivors.

In addition, the development of a "completely new Metal Slug" was announced. However, no additional details have been revealed yet.
