The revenue of the action RPG has been consistently declining since 2021.

Scopely has announced the closure of the mobile RPG Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem. The project will be removed from the App Store and Google Play on August 23, but users who manage to download it before this date will be able to play until the servers are finally shut down on October 15, 2026.

Before the shutdown, the team will launch a series of daily giveaways. Players will be able to receive in-game resources and characters until the servers close, but they will not be able to retain access to their collection after they are disconnected — an offline version of the game is not provided.

"This is a difficult farewell. Over the years, the community has formed alliances that turned into true friendships, participated in wars together, and shared many laughs. We have seen strangers become teammates and then true friends."

Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem was released in 2018. The game offered players to assemble squads of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and other Warner Bros. characters, develop them, and participate in turn-based battles.

According to AppMagic estimates, in-game purchases brought Scopely over $106 million, and the number of installations exceeded 41 million. The US accounts for 62% of all revenue and 19% of downloads, while Russia provided about 6% of installations.

However, according to AppMagic, World of Mayhem's revenue began to consistently decline back in August 2021. Since January 2026, the game has been generating about $350,000 per month. Scopely did not name financial performance as the reason for the closure, so directly linking the cessation of project support to declining revenue cannot be done.
