Something interesting is happening on Steam – and it's not just the big success of Escape from Duckov.
Vampire: Bloodlines 2, which received a barrage of criticism, quickly disappeared from the bestseller list. Ninja Gaiden 4 also failed to impress, with peak online numbers barely exceeding 11,000 people. But indie projects are showing strong results.
In addition to the excellent sales of Escape from Duckov, Dispatch has joined the leaders. The game took third place in the Steam rankings. It's a "superhero comedy" from AdHoc studio, created by former developers of Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us, who decided to open their own independent team.
The surprises didn't end there. The cooperative indie game RV There Yet? from Nuggets Entertainment also had a great start. In it, players travel in a motorhome, completing tasks along the way. Since its release on October 21, the project has gathered almost 36,000 simultaneous players. Currently, RV There Yet? is in sixth place among the best-selling games on Steam.
