Steam has started providing developers with performance data for their games on Steam Deck

Valve continues to improve the Steam service not only for regular players, but also for developers. It was recently announced that they are starting to provide developers with additional data that may help improve the optimization of their games.

In the section with average frame rate data, developers will be able to see the daily value for the last 30 days, based on data from users who allowed frame rate data collection and spent time playing the game:

In the future, we will provide variance data for each date so that you can see whether players' frame rate is stable. Also, in a future update, we will begin publishing this data for games with the \"Playable\" rating on Steam Deck as well.

In addition, they introduced \"User Survey Results\" — this data is based on a survey of players who agreed to provide feedback on the Steam Deck compatibility rating (this option appears on the library page after 10 minutes of play):

Although more than 95% of users agree with the category of full game compatibility, we provide this data because it can be useful for developers to understand the point of view of those who disagree — especially in the context of a specific game or update.
