Russians again lost access to Escape from Tarkov servers - developers explained it by an external factor
Not everyone could go on a raid in Escape from Tarkov or get into a match in EFT: Arena.
On May 9, players of Escape from Tarkov and EFT: Arena from Russia began to complain about problems with access to the shooters. Battlestate Games studio reacted to the reports and explained that this was not caused by the developers' actions:
We are aware that players are experiencing difficulties connecting to servers, logging into the game, and accessing the Escape from Tarkov and Escape from Tarkov: Arena websites. These difficulties are related to the operation of network infrastructure beyond Battlestate Games' control. We apologize for the inconvenience!

Currently, a new in-game event is taking place in Escape from Tarkov, which is time-limited. If nothing changes, the event will end on the morning of May 12 (i.e., Tuesday). Players believe that EFT developers should extend the event time — not only because of the failure, some community members went on vacation for the holidays and also cannot participate.
Earlier it became known that the court fined the creators of Escape from Tarkov in Russia — the reason was "violation of the requirement to localize Russian user data on the territory of the Russian Federation."
