Alawar Releases Demo of Alien-Themed Area 51 Security Guard Horror Simulator on Steam

In Security 51, it's important to keep track not only of who the player lets in, but also who they let out into the world.

In June, Alawar released a demo of the game Security 51 on PC via Steam. Players are invited to take on the role of a security officer working deep within the mysterious Area 51.

From a gameplay perspective, the new title resembles Papers, Please — players will have to examine documents, inspect, and verify the identity of those trying to pass through the checkpoint:

The released demo of Security 51 features dynamic day-night cycles and a new shift structure — the developers explained that each shift now has its own duration depending on the day's conditions and the number of visitors. The updated clock interface will show the current time of day, as well as the start and end of the shift. If the player manages to check all visitors before the shift ends, they will receive an additional reward.
