Gran Turismo 7 to get five new cars - update trailer released
Developers will add Ferrari, Porsche, and more models.
Polyphony Digital studio has started teasing the next update for the racing simulator Gran Turismo 7. The developers plan to add five cars to the game.
The GTPlanet community has studied the car selection, which includes the WEC safety car – a Porsche 911 (992 generation) with a livery:
Porsche 963:
a Porsche LMDh class prototype, built on a Multimatic chassis. It is equipped with a 4.6-liter twin-turbo V8 and a standard Bosch/Williams hybrid system, common to all LMDh.

Peugeot 9X8:
It debuted as a “wingless” hypercar: initially, Peugeot designed it without a rear wing, before a significant evolution added it and completely changed the aerodynamics. As an LMH [Le Mans Hypercar], it uses a hybrid system to drive the front axle, while a 2.6-liter twin-turbo V6 spins the rear wheels, providing all-wheel drive with an active hybrid system.

Ferrari 499P:
Technically, it's an LMH, like the Peugeot: a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 drives the rear wheels, and a hybrid system drives the front.

BMW M Hybrid V8:
Like the Porsche, it's an LMDh category car, using a Dallara chassis (the same as Cadillac's) and built around a standard Bosch/Williams hybrid system. The engine is BMW's own, a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, based on technology from the DTM era.

The Gran Turismo 7 update is scheduled for release on June 11, 2026.
