Board game Berlin 1960 to be released in Russia: confrontation between CIA and KGB agents

Gamers from Russia will also have the opportunity to travel back to the Cold War era, take on the roles of CIA or KGB agents, and visit the German capital, as the publishing house "Niza Games" is localizing the board game Berlin 1960.

Employees of the publishing house "Niza Games" announced that they will release Berlin 1960 in Russia – a board game of hidden roles and bluffing, designed for 4–8 players.

The project is set in the German capital during the Cold War. Participants will take on the roles of CIA or KGB agents. Throughout the game, they will use various abilities to identify agents of the opposing side and hinder rivals' investigations and connections.

In Berlin 1960, every action matters, and signals a player sends to allies can be misinterpreted. Mechanically, the game is closest to Game of Thrones: Oathbreaker – two teams (hidden from each other) earn points during the game, and at the end determine who won.

According to "Niza Games", one can play poorly in terms of acting skills and bluffing, but strategically make good moves that will lead the team to victory. The influence of Eurogame masters is felt from the first moves of the game.

On the BoardGameGeek portal, this board game from the creators of "Grand Austria Hotel", "Lorenzo il Magnifico", and "Coimbra" received 7.4 out of 10 points.
