The events of "Tales From 1985" will unfold between the third and fourth seasons of the original show.
In honor of the annual Stranger Things Day, which takes place on November 6, Netflix has unveiled a new project in the "Stranger Things" universe — an animated series called Stranger Things: Tales From ’85.
According to the official synopsis, the characters will once again find themselves at the epicenter of mysterious events threatening the town: "Welcome to Hawkins in the winter of 1985, where old friends will battle new monsters and face another paranormal mystery."
The show will take place between the third and fourth seasons of the original series, so Netflix decided to invite new actors to voice younger versions of familiar characters.
Among them are Brooklyn Dэйви Норстедт (Eleven), Jolie Hoang-Rappaport (Max), Luca Diaz (Mike), A.J. Williams (Lucas), Braxton Kinney (Dustin), Ben Plessala (Will), and Brett Gipson (Hopper). The cast also includes Odessa A’zion, Janeane Garofalo, and Lou Diamond Phillips.
The premiere of Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 will take place in 2026.
