However, the game on the Nintendo console looks better than the PlayStation 4 version.

Capcom continues to actively support Nintendo Switch 2, releasing ports of its major projects on the console. One of the latest releases is Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition, which, judging by the first technical analyses, demonstrates impressive results on Nintendo's new platform.

According to GVG's review and performance analysis, the port not only compares favorably to the original PlayStation 4 version in terms of image quality but also surpasses it in gameplay fluidity. When outputting in 120 Hz mode, the game consistently runs in the range of 90 to 120 frames per second, utilizing VRR technology support in the console's portable mode.

However, Nintendo Switch 2 owners who prefer to play on a TV will not be able to fully utilize these advantages. The console still does not support VRR in docked mode, which means users are limited to a stable 60 frames per second when 120 Hz output is disabled.

In terms of content, Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition matches the versions for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The edition includes the base game and all initial add-ons, with Vergil available as a playable character from the start.

At the same time, the Legendary Dark Knight mode, in which players have to fight a significantly larger number of enemies simultaneously, remained exclusive to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This decision seems quite logical, as such a load could seriously affect the performance of the Nintendo Switch 2 processor.

Notably, this mode is still absent on PC. Earlier activity in the Steam database hinted at the possible appearance of Legendary Dark Knight on the Valve platform, but no official announcements have followed yet.
